USN Tokyo is on the lookout for a dynamic Content Strategist to join our growing team. In this role, you will shape the digital presence of youth-focused global brands, leading content creation and strategy across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Line. You’ll collaborate with creative teams, influencers, and overseas partners to craft compelling stories that resonate with audiences. You’ll manage content schedules, reporting, and strategy decks, while leveraging analytics and paid social tools to inform and optimize campaigns. Responsible for creating and posting content on social media pages for youth-focused brands, primarily on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Line, while also developing strategy decks.

Assist with daily content creation and postings, including coordinating photo and video shoots with brand ambassadors and influencers.

Provide weekly and/or monthly reporting of stats and findings, and present these to clients.

Coordinate with overseas partners to finalize content, obtain approval, and ensure content adheres to brand guidelines.

Attend relevant events on occasion to document and create content for social media postings.

Act as the main day-to-day client contact, managing expectations and assigning tasks to the team.

Contribute to new pitch projects and collaborate on proposal deck creation with other team members.

Have a deep understanding of how the social media landscape works, what creates buzz, and experience using social media CMS tools such as Percolate or Sprinklr.

Strong knowledge of paid digital and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, AdWords, and Facebook Ads.

Manage a portfolio of paid social campaigns, including assigning ad budgets and developing creative concepts.

Capture and analyze relevant data to inform creative strategies.

Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Candidates must currently reside in Japan.

3–5 years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the social media landscape, functionality, and trends in Japan.

Business-level English; Business-to-Native level Japanese.

Proactive, with a “first adopter” mindset—eager to try new tools, technologies, and approaches.

Knowledge of digital media buying across various social media platforms.

Familiarity with digital marketing ecosystems, including analytics and content management systems.

Highly organized team player with excellent communication skills, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

Active interest in social media trends in Japan, with the ability to connect these to brand strategies.

Must bring a positive attitude and contribute to fostering a respectful and supportive workplace culture.

Kura Gallery at UltraSuperNew is an interactive space that curates and brings together creatives from all backgrounds to ignite discovery, imagination, and conversation. It is as a launchpad for experimental collaborations between artists, designers, and innovators alike.


We are looking for a reliable, curious, and people-friendly students, freelancers, or anyone looking to help manage our Kura space, a curated gallery/creative shop connected to the UltraSuperNew Gallery in Harajuku.

This is a part-time role perfect for someone who loves art, design, and connecting with people. You’ll be the first face visitors see when they enter the space, helping them discover new artists, explore new ideas, and feel welcome.

Open and close the Kura space independently

Greet visitors and introduce the current artist(s) and exhibition concept

Manage on-site sales and process payments

Keep the gallery space tidy and visually on point

Support events, talks, and openings (approx. 4 per month, usually weekday evenings)

Friendly and confident in speaking with people from all walks of life

Genuinely interested in art, culture, or creative industries

You would work closely with your team to conceptualize and develop ideas and execute communication material, ranging from design, video, photoshoots, digital and social content. USN Tokyo is looking for a Video Editor/Motion Graphic Artist to beef up its creative strategies. You will be working on a variety of projects (social, digital, events, print, TV you name it, we do it!), for a wide range of international brands, and with a very international, diverse team.

Working as a video editor, using Adobe Creative Suite on a daily basis, primarily Premiere and After Effects

Storyboarding the flow of the video assets or motion graphics, or for potential shoots

Assisting in production as needed (pre, productions, post)

Knowing how to give feedback to video productions and edits

Working across teams to create/adapt assets for both digital and campaign 

Simultaneously work on multiple projects with short deadlines

Ideating on client and proactive projects

Portfolio of work is a must before applying

Conversational to Business level communication in English

Minimum conversational level Japanese but Native Level preferred
