USN Tokyo is on the lookout for a dynamic Content Strategist to join our growing team. In this role, you will shape the digital presence of youth-focused global brands, leading content creation and strategy across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Line. You’ll collaborate with creative teams, influencers, and overseas partners to craft compelling stories that resonate with audiences. You’ll manage content schedules, reporting, and strategy decks, while leveraging analytics and paid social tools to inform and optimize campaigns.   • What You'll Do
  • Responsible for creating and posting content on social media pages for youth-focused brands, primarily on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Line, while also developing strategy decks.
  • Assist with daily content creation and postings, including coordinating photo and video shoots with brand ambassadors and influencers.
  • Provide weekly and/or monthly reporting of stats and findings, and present these to clients.
  • Coordinate with overseas partners to finalize content, obtain approval, and ensure content adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Attend relevant events on occasion to document and create content for social media postings.
  • Act as the main day-to-day client contact, managing expectations and assigning tasks to the team.
  • Contribute to new pitch projects and collaborate on proposal deck creation with other team members.
  • Have a deep understanding of how the social media landscape works, what creates buzz, and experience using social media CMS tools such as Percolate or Sprinklr.
  • Strong knowledge of paid digital and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, AdWords, and Facebook Ads.
  • Manage a portfolio of paid social campaigns, including assigning ad budgets and developing creative concepts.
  • Capture and analyze relevant data to inform creative strategies.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

  • Requirements
  • Candidates must currently reside in Japan.
  • 3–5 years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the social media landscape, functionality, and trends in Japan.
  • Business-level English; Business-to-Native level Japanese.
  • Proactive, with a “first adopter” mindset—eager to try new tools, technologies, and approaches.
  • Knowledge of digital media buying across various social media platforms.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing ecosystems, including analytics and content management systems.
  • Highly organized team player with excellent communication skills, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Active interest in social media trends in Japan, with the ability to connect these to brand strategies.
  • Must bring a positive attitude and contribute to fostering a respectful and supportive workplace culture.
